This privacy policy explains how AHB.dev ("we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use Arrow Puzzle: Tap Maze Escape ("the Game"). We keep data collection to the absolute minimum needed to run the Game. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with advertisers beyond what's required to serve ads.

1. What We Collect

1.1 Device-only data (never leaves your phone)

By default the Game stores the following in a local database (Hive):

Game progress — current level, unlocked levels, star ratings
Coins, items, unlocked trophies, purchased skins and boards
Your settings — theme, sound, language, haptics preferences
A cached session token if you sign in

This data lives only on your device. It is not transmitted anywhere unless you explicitly sign in (see §1.2).

1.2 Cloud data (only if you sign in)

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with email or Google, we store the following in our cloud database (Appwrite):

Your email address
Your display name (if you set one)
Your current level, total coins, star count, unlocked trophies
Your purchased boards and arrow skins
A compressed save file so you can resume on another device

You can delete all cloud data at any time by using Delete Account in the Game's Profile screen.

1.3 Leaderboard data (opt-in)

If you enable "Show me on leaderboard" (debug builds only) or play the online Leaderboard feature, we publish the following to a publicly visible leaderboard:

Your display name
Your leaderboard scores (weekly, monthly, all-time)
Your level and star count
Your trophy count
Your avatar URL, if your account has one

Only display name, scores, level, stars, and trophies are ever visible to other players. No email, no device info, no game history.

1.4 Ad serving

The Game shows interstitial, banner, and rewarded video ads through Unity Ads. Unity may collect:

Google Advertising ID (GAID)
IP address (for regional ad selection)
Device model and OS version
Interaction events (ad watched, ad skipped, ad clicked)

See Unity's Privacy Policy for details. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

1.5 Huawei In-App Purchases (AppGallery only)

If you install from Huawei AppGallery and make a purchase, Huawei processes the transaction. We receive a purchase confirmation but never see your payment details.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

No location data
No contacts, photos, or files
No microphone or camera access
No phone number
No analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, etc.)
No crash reporting services

3. Third-Party Services

Appwrite — cloud save storage (privacy)
Unity Ads — advertising (privacy)
Google Sign-In — optional authentication (privacy)
Huawei AGC / IAP — AppGallery builds only (privacy)

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your cloud data
Correct — update your display name in Profile
Delete — remove all cloud data via Delete Account
Port — your save file is portable via cloud sign-in
Object — disable leaderboard visibility by turning off the opt-in switch or deleting your account

5. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data Retention

Local device data — persists until you uninstall the Game
Cloud data — persists until you delete your account
Leaderboard data — same as cloud, deleted with account
Ad interaction data — retained by Unity per their policy

7. Security

All cloud traffic uses HTTPS. Appwrite encrypts data at rest. Passwords are never stored in plaintext — they are hashed by Appwrite's auth service. No system is 100% secure; if we discover a breach that affects you, we will notify you via the email on your account.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, show an in-app notice. Continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the updated policy.
